What do I need to rent a car?
A national ID or passport and a driving licence held for at least 2 years. Drivers must be 23 or older. Upload photos once when you book and we verify them — usually within 30 minutes.
How does payment work?
Pay with M-Pesa straight from the booking page — you get a prompt on your phone. Pay the full amount, or reserve with 30% and pay the rest before pickup. Cards and bank transfer are accepted for business accounts.
Is there a security deposit?
Self-drive bookings carry a refundable deposit shown on each car. It is returned within 48 hours after the car comes back in the same condition. Chauffeur and airport bookings have no deposit.
Can you deliver the car?
Yes. Pick a delivery area when you book and the fee is added to your price. Pickup at our Ngong Road office is free.
How many kilometres can I drive?
Each car shows its daily allowance (usually 250 km/day, added up across your trip). Extra kilometres are charged at the rate shown on the car.
Can I take the car upcountry or across the border?
Upcountry trips are fine. For Uganda or Tanzania add the cross-border permit extra when booking so we can prepare the paperwork.
What happens if the car breaks down?
Open your trip and press Roadside help. We get your location and send help or a replacement car. Our line is open 24/7.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Within 48 hours, 30% of the booking is retained. No-shows are charged in full.
